Capacity: 64 people, spread over one floor
The floor includes:
- 8 rooms for 8 people each
- 2 living rooms
Accessibility
We strive to make the Centre Cinqfontaines accessible to everyone. However, due to the nature of
the site, there are also restrictions.
Here is the most important information:
– The path to the monument has a steep incline and is not easily accessible for PMR (people with reduced mobility)
– There is a parking directly on the site
– The site is concreted and has a firm surface
– Guide and assistance dogs are welcome on the site
– The memorial walk is accessible to the public
– The information tables are accessible via a step of 7 cm
– Access to the information table at the car park has a width of approx. 79 cm
– The information tables have wheelchair accessible tables
– There are seats at the information tables
– There are holders for walking aids at the information tables
– The information boards at the monument, at the railway tracks and at the mill are not easily accessible for PMR
– The texts on the information boards are placed at a height of 1m35
– The memorial path is available online on this homepage in easy language
– There is an information brochure in easy language
– The buildings are not accessible to the public
– All buildings are accessible for PMR
– There is a barrier-free toilet on the ground floor in the monastery building

Construction project
A committee composed of representatives from the state, the Jewish community, the SNJ and the
ZpB is overseeing the further development of the center.
A “construction program” has been developed for the renovation of the site, including a redesign
plan. Currently, discussions are underway to determine how this program can be implemented on
this heritage-protected site, which is also located in a nature conservation zone.
