During the Second World War, Jews from Luxembourg were interned in Cinqfontaines. Since 2022, the monastery of Cinqfontaines is a place of remembrance and an educational centre. In commemoration of the history of the place and due to an agreement between the Jewish Community and the Luxembourg State, the educational activities are related to the Shoah and human rights. They are offered by the Service national de la jeunesse and the Zentrum fir politesch Bildung. The Centre is administered by the SNJ, which is under the authority of the Ministry of Education, Children and Youth.
